The next Amgen Biotech Experience PDI will be a half-day certification event taking place on April 29th, 2023. High school teachers from DC public schools and DC public charter schools will be given preference for course acceptance.

All teachers who complete a professional development institute are certified to borrow research-grade biotech equipment for their classrooms. Each Washington DC public high school teacher who successfully completes the ABE Professional Development Institute and implements the program in their classrooms will receive a stipend.
