Stay open to the connections of mathematics and science, mathematics and life!  Data from students' evaluations of their college math courses indicate their STRONG need of concrete examples of the usefulness/application of mathematics. Students in science need to know, and perform, mathematical analyses of their science work, since math is the language of science!
