MfA DC Master Teacher Program

About the Program:

MfA DC is extending its efforts by establishing a Master Teacher program!  This program offers the benefits of the MfA DC Fellowship program to current DC math teachers.  That is, Master Teachers receive professional development opportunities, a training grant to further their education, and an annual stipend of $10,000.  MfA DC will appoint up to five Master Teachers, each of whom will serve for five years.  We plan to appoint all five in the first year; however, if that is not feasible, recruitment will be continued into the second year.  We welcome inquiries about the program, especially from those who would like to apply to join and those who would like to nominate candidates.

The deadline for application is Friday, May 6, 2013.
