Kit 4 Experiment With Enzymes! START or END the school year with this simple investigation. YOUR STUDENTS are in charge, developing an ENZYME ASSAY.  A script is provided for the teacher to get the inquiry started. Students EXPLORE, CHARACTERIZE and PRESENT and INTERPET their data for an enzyme found in practically every living organism. Students DEVELOP and REFINE a protocol to investigate the enzyme's activity as a team, and VALIDATE the methods they develop through a classwide effort. This introductory investigation can be extended by students for Science Fair Projects with simple substitutions of reaction vessels -- and the work CAN be performed AT HOME.
